Again, The Academy only provides its customers with the best. In order to give our pitchers the optimal experience and feel we have built our mounds from clay and dirt. No longer will The Academy use the un-natural feel of plywood. This is The Academy's way of bringing a little bit of the field to it's facility. The originality of The Academy will provide our pitchers with a more natural feel as they work on their mechanics.
We also provide top of the line ATEC pitching nets that are made from a thick canvas material. Where the plates are located we have turf layed out to give our catchers a more natural feel as well. This gives our catchers an easier opportunity to work on blocking balls in the dirt and keeping it in front.
Beside our baseball mounds we also have two lanes for softball as well. Here we have measured out the distance for our younger girls at thirty feet to our older girls at forty three feet. Here our girls will be throwing off a very nice and forgiving sport court floor. This floor is easier on the feet and knees helping prevent our customers from hassling injuries.
