Our facility is designed to help the serious athlete become prepared for the next level of play.  We have a top of the line facility and program.  The training area is around 10,000 sq ft that consist of four batting cages, two REAL clay and dirt pitching mounds for baseball, six pitching lanes for softball (each 30, 35, 40, 43 ft), and two large defensive areas including 3,000 sq ft of turf and 6,500 sq ft of sport court.  Accompanying our cages are top of the line L-Screens for protection, training tee's, and a machine to work on fundamentals.

All of the instructors at the Academy have either collegiate or professional experience.  We offer everything from private instruction in batting, pitching, and defense to individual and team rentals.  Any part of your young athletes game that needs improvement we have just the right program to make this possible.  To accompany our individual instruction the Academy also offers video analysis, strength and conditioning programs/classes, and different types of camps and leagues throughout the year.

With the kids interest at heart, the Academy has now formed a summer travel program called the "Huntington Patriots!"  In the summer of 2008 the Academy put together it's first team of elite 15 & 16 year olds.  The organization was coached by the Academy owners, Tyler Christian and Tom Smith.  When the first year of the organization finished up the Patriots slated a 22-10 record.  The first tournament the Patriots competed in was the Gastonia Summer Slug fest in North Carolina where they placed 1st earning a bid to the 2008 USSSA World Series at the Houston Astro's spring training complex in Kissimmee, FL.  Leaving from NC the team headed to Atlanta, GA to compete at the East Cobb Baseball Complex (www.EastCobbBaseball.com).  Here the Patriots took part in a wood bat tourney in which they earned 2nd place.  The third tourney of competition was at Winthrop University.  Here the Patriots earned the respect of Winthrop's coaches with several players information asked upon, after placing fourth in the tourney.  Finishing up the season the boys headed to Cincinnati, OH to compete with the Cincy Flames(www.flamesbaseball.com) and then head to the Virginia Sports Complex in Ruther Glenn, VA (www.vasportscomplex.com) where they placed 3rd in the Virginia State Tourney.  To cap off an amazing first year the Patriots competed in the World Series against international teams and USA teams to bring home the title.  In just their first year back in existence they managed to accomplish a feat that no one in the state of WV has done by winning the 2008 USSSA World Series and finishing 5th in national rankings.  In the fall of 2008 the facility and the Patriots organization are starting up a 13-14 and a 15-16 team to accompany the defending champs who will be moved to 17's. The Patriots have now earned the status of being known as "West Virginia's Elite Travel Organization!"  YOUR CHILD COULD BE NEXT!
